Attorney Meissner has handled a number of high profile cases related to securities violations and other crimes. His experience working in the public eye began relatively early, when he worked in the Trial Division of the Manhattan District Attorney's Office, under Robert Morgenthau.

When he moved to the New York State Attorney General's Office, under Eliot Spitzer, serving in the Securities Investor Protection Bureau and Financial Crimes Unit, information about his cases continued to appear in print and broadcast media.
